Ok I have decided to do some comfort work to my 2010 regular cab Ranger. The 60/40 seat need to go. Tired of sitting on cardboard. I know there has been a lot of swaps. I'm look not looking for big money. But an 88 60/40 or full bench. I am 60+ and big so I don't know if explorer seats would be comfortable. Thanks for any and all help.

You have a little more room in yours than I did. I tried Explorer buckets and then BII buckets. They squeak on the back window while the steering wheel is in your teeth.

I snagged a low mile split bench and have been thrilled.

In my first gen std cab... and I'm no small fella... I thought the factory 60/40 split bench was pretty comfortable. Even after nearly 300K miles.

I do have a question about these... Seeing we have the same cab, I prefer a bucket/console setup, but have wonder if there is a benefit to either buckets. I'm 6'1" and have wondered if buckets change the legroom. In my Nissan I gained legroom and headroom as the seat sat lower about an inch. Do the buckets from either the expo or BII do this?

They push you closer to the dash. Height off the floor, I had springs dying in my bench so it is hard to say. At least two had popped.

I gave up on buckets and threw the bench back in until I found my split bench.

You can convert a split bench to a bucket seat too.

Try to find buckets out of a standard cab Ranger if you can.

So does a bench give more room? I was thinking about an early 60/40. The one where the arm rest is part of the seat .So is it agreed that a seat in a 2010 seat is uncomfortable. Is a 2010 a wider cab? And more room from steering wheel to back window? Thanks

Can this go in my 2010 single cab. More room?

What is it out of?

don't try from an 04. my split bench has the little arm rest also but the seat bottom is pretty dang uncomfortable, like sitting on a piece of plywood

Just curious here. Won't the sits from a '95 or so, 4.6l limousine fit? It's leather, and somehow comfortable.
i nearly wanted to get those for my ranger '94, but wasn't sure it'd fit.
