What? door latches are lit up? Never saw that in my 97.,.. and I got the Extra Lot of Trouble package too... (XLT)The cabs from 93 thru 97 are the same making the doors the same in those years. 93-94 the interior door panels and latch are different. The latch does not have the interior light switch built into it like the 95-97 does but the latches are able to be swapped along with the internal wiring for the interior light.
In '95 the Rangers had an interior refresh so 95-97 are a direct Bolt on swap for your application without the need to swap any parts.
The interior light switch is located in the door latch. 93-94 uses a door jam pressure switch to turn the interior lights on instead. They are located in the A pillar. What? door latches are lit up? Never saw that in my 97.,.. and I got the Extra Lot of Trouble package too... (XLT)
basically this is pretty much true. the doors from 98 to 11 are also the same, but may have some variances in the interior trim and the mirrors were changed in 2007 I think.

ahhh that is what you are talking about, I thought it was an actual illuminated door handle. the interior light switch is the one that I have to hit up with a can of wd 40 every so often to keep my "door is ajar" light off lolThe interior light switch is located in the door latch. 93-94 uses a door jam pressure switch to turn the interior lights on instead.
