Need help identifying an electrical connection

A tree rat got under the hood and chewed some stuff up pretty good. I was hoping someone could identify the connector (# 1 in the picture) so I know what I'm looking for when I go and order it.
Also the hose identified in my picture as #2, I'm thinking that is just a vacuum hose. It goes from right behind the throttle body in the front around to the back of the motor.
The picture is taken from the passenger side of the truck.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Electrical 2Wire harness connector is to IgnitionKnockSensor mounted under IntakeManifold on top of EngineBlock;
typical on 1997~2012 YearModel V6~4.0L~SOHC engines.
I'd try a JunkYard, cut connector+several inches of harness off the engine harness, splice to your engine harness; this sensor is required.
Hose is 5/16"ID in the PCVCoolantLoop that runs
from PCVHeatExchanger on right of IntakeManifold throat
to PCVValve on rear of left ValveCover;
2 options, either replace hose, or delete entire PCVCoolantLoop, as it's not really needed.

Yup, that's the knock sensor. That sucks.

In addition to the glue traps for around the garage, get some Coroplast fabric tape.

This stuff is super tough. Even after starting a cut on the side I can't tear it and have to cut it with a blade or scissors. Most rodents can chew through it, but decide it isn't worth the effort before they actually get through. Use it to wrap up any exposed wires to the end of the connector.

I use this stuff exactly that way when doing wiring repairs from rodent damage. I have yet to have something come back with the same wires chewed.

Yup, that's the knock sensor. That sucks.

Good thing I deadlined the truck once I seen the carnage.
I would think that would have thrown a code.

Past couple times I drove the truck the heat would only come thru defroster, figured a bad vacuum line for the flapper. Figured I would fix it when I put a new battery in it before we got bad cold weather. When I went to put the battery in is when I discovered what was going on. The tree rat also got most the way thru a heater hose, the red vacuum line that I think goes to heater control, tore most the insulation off the firewall to make a nest on the intake, tore the lining of the insulation on the bottom side of the hood and gnawed on the plug wires as well.
