$1000 less in my pocket I have the HD Rack from Yakima w/ tonneau cover spacer thing kit designed to work with Embark LS Tonneau/Bed Cover , now I need to find a quality cheap tonneau cover that will work w/ the HD rack. Oh i looked up the pronunciation of tonneau
, it always bothered me.

Are there any other tonneau covers that are designed like the low profile Embark LS Tonneau / Bed Cover since I can not afford the hd rack and the Embark LS .

I picked the Yakima HD rack over the Thule, Hd rack is more versatile, more accessories available, I have the heavy duty rubber stripping, which slots in on the op of the bars. The yakima tie downs (sold separately) are not that great for lumber or PVC trim boards, as I learned the hard way when a 1by4by8 decided to take different route home. Could have been user error or the impending thunder storm in the home depot parking lot that caused me to rush when strapping down. I prefer ratchet straps for lumber but the yakima straps great for our surf board.
Here is some rack porn.

I can’t tell you a particular brand but the system rack is designed to work with mounts on the inside of the bed rails. You will need a tonneau cover that mounts the same way.

I’d offer to sell you mine but it is bot the right style. So it won’t work for you.

have to say there a lot covers on the market for these trucks, wish it was the same case for cabs, I looked into cabs but all the styles that met my needs and wants, were only available for f150s

Caps are falling out of favor. They are viewed as an old man’s thing more and more. Part of it is the expense. Fiberglass caps are expensive.

I paid around $3,000 for the one on mine. $1,800 for the one on the 2011.

I had a folding cloth cap on my 99 ranger, I barely ever used it though, the material fully warmed up in the hot sun barely stretched enough to work

Yeah once you get the cap you need the rolling bed, no fun unloading bags of demo sheet rock with a cap (my opinion) , that's an another easy $1000 for a good rollin bed. I would buy a ran before I get a rolling bed.

I looked at more some low profile tonneau covers, the one that could possible work are all pricey, the way the yakima hd rack mounts, it is hard to believe any cover will work

When I got a topper for mine my brother said "I didn't think you was that old"
