Just to add insult to injury....
Here is a real Hurst shifter;

To get the short throw it moves the pivot point farther up away from the transmission. I don't have an original trans here to measure but I would guess the throw is 30% shorter.

Well… maybe go back and edit your original post with some photos... add some specs... your part numbers and clean up the typos. You might just have an entry for a shifter mod in the tech library.

Curious... Does the actual Hurst shifter shorten the throw?

I went back through it again. But the last couple pictures are just links and won't load.
