Math whizzes needed...


I agree GPS is not 100% precise but I have checked it many times against road markers and percent variation compared to the speedometer. I would say that my GPS is within +/- 1% of being accurate overall.

Calculating fuel mileage with this kind of accuracy should be good. It is very hard to get better accuracy that that in determining how much fuel was used.
 
And I'm concentrating on baking oatmeal cookies so my brain isn't on the math so much.... ;)

Edit: And of coarse it gets worse the faster i go. I know gps isnt perfect, but its all close enough for a mpg guesstamate. Lol

Dakota Digital makes a "Universal Speedometer Signal Interface".
If there is ABS on the vehicle then you need to change the pulse after they go to the ABS module.
