I have a 92 ford ranger 2.3
It was stuck in the snow the other day and the motor went to some high rpms while spinning to get it out. it started sputtering and eventually now will not start. It did not overheat or blow any smoke.
IT is however getting spark and fuel pressure. I checked the pressure at the shrader valve and it seems to get good pressure. IT will start for a very short second if i spray ether into the carb. Could my injectors be the problem ? would the motor get compression if the timing belt was chewed ? Right before it died it started sputtering and running real rough. it would only idle if gas pedal was to the floor. and then eventually it would not run at all.
This is my only vehicle and i need it running as soon as possible. thanks.
