Man that's a great shot! I've yet to get a good moon shot anywhere close to that with my Nikon.

I've got a Nikkor N 105mm and a DX 18-200mm on a Nikon D90. I just got a tripod so I'm hoping that will help out a bit.

I used a tripod, but if you spot meter on the moon image, the shutter speed is fairly fast. Plus your 18-200mm has VR which will help.
