would the factory side steps help protect the truck as rock sliders would?

rock sliders are made of steel and either bolt or weld to the frame. Theres a zero chance under the door would get damaged by rocks. The factory side steps will crack or fall off if it falls on a rock.

as the rock sliders may be able to be used as a step. the step could not be used as a rock slider. wrong positioning and weak material

yup.got 6inch suspension and 3inch body. with 33x14boggers.she has hard time getting in and hates da tire noise!.lol i love it. i can irritate her without it being MY FAULT
