Did Ford offer steel 15" rims on the Ranger? My '92 has 215/70/14 tires. I want to go taller without going wider. 215/75/14 is the only bigger size. With 15" rims, I think I can get what I want. The truck needs new tires so now is the time to change. I don't want new custom rims and all that. It's more than I want to spend and I'm not really looking for custom aftermarket rims. If Ford made them, factory steel is fine with me.

Just out of curiousity, how wide are my 14" rims? How wide are the 15" rims (assumimg Ford made them)?

Last question...is the wheel pattern on a 4 1/2" bolt circle (5 on 4 1/2")?

Thanks.
Dave

the ford factory steel wheels of the 15" variety come on 4x4's, there about 7" wide wheels, you cna find them in abundance in any junkyard

Most steel RBV 4x4 rims are 15x6. IIRC, the "full-face" steel rims on some 3rd/4th-gen models are 15x7 however

IIRC, the 14s are 5.5".

5x4.5" lug, yes.
