Rear ABS light has been going on and off sporatically for a couple of years now with no problems. Now when I come to a stop, the brakes act fine until I'm almost at a stop then the rear brakes lock up. Can I try to clean the RABS sensor, or just disconnect them to stop this, or could it be something else?

The ABS sensor is by far the easier thing to check, clean, or replace. It is also most likely your cause.
