2.8 displacement isnt everything...

For my monster 2.8L rebuild i have the following:
-custom comp cams .488 lift .302 duration and whatever they decide for lobe sep.
-bored 30 over
-sealed power pistons
-mellings high volume oil pump
-P&P heads along with cut for bigger valves
-rocker arm upgrade
-accel ignition module
-Pulstar spark plugs
-9mm wires
-Flamethrower II ignitioncoil(60,000 volts)
-MSD 6al control module
-Turbo 10psi
-water methanol injection............any other suggestions?

just curious why youre going with 3 different manufacturers for you ignition components? other than that ? everything sounds good, are you doing anything intake and exhaust side? (porting, headers, etc?)

I dont intentionally pick different brands, i just pick what is in my experience and knowledge the best regardless of brands. and yes custom fabed intake manifold and headers along with a nice street strip P&P

Exhaust straight out the top of the hood!!!!!!

JKing but this 2.8 is going to kick so serious ass when you are done.

Just have to keep it looking like a sleeper ranger until a mustang thinks that can kick your ass or another truck with a larger engine.
