My question is: Is there a T5 transmission that will bolt up to a Ford 2.8L V6? I bought a Triumph Stag that has a Ford 2.8L V6 in it with a 4 speed. It needs an overdrive. I don't know the year of the engine but has a carburetor if that helps. If there isn't a bolt up, does anyone sell a kit.

I don't think this is going to be much help as far as what is going to need to be done, but this bit of info is in the technical library on this site:

The Mustang 2.8's had a T-4 type transmission available and those bellhousings will allow use of a T-5 behind a 2.8 / 2.9 / 4.0 V-6.

Keep us updated as I've always been curious on if this works or not. I was wanting to mate up a T-5 behind my 2.9L with a super charger, but sold what I had gathered and just got a V8. Awesome if it works. Another option might be a later Mustang 5 speed behind a 4.0L? Not too sure on that though.
