Was going to remove the heads to have everything checked out, fix a leaky valve, do the porting for cooling etc. and I was wondering is there anything special I need to do/watch out for in removing the heads on this B2?

Do I have to mess with the timing chain, water pump/accessories, anything like that to ge them off?

A couple of things bolt to it but other then that not much to look out for just have to re-adjust the lifters when you go to put the head back on.

Do I have to mess with the timing chain at all? Does the water pump have to come off?

The 2.8 doesn't have a timing chain. It is gear driven. But I don't know if you have to mess with it.

Theres no messing with the cam or anything just pull the head off and put back on but make sure you put the pushrods back where each one came from. Just take your time and you will be fine.
