ok I'm asking has anyony other then me use a 500cfm holley? I know its too big if I do the math.

I know there were a couple of people here in the past that used 500cfm carbs. Like you said, it's a lot bigger than the optimum. If you could get your hands on a 350 or 390, it would work better.

i heard if you use the 350 or 390 you have to use smaller jets for the 2.8?
