What do you recomend for exhaust size on my 84 bronco II? It has no cat and noise isn't a issue.

I'd say post this in the exhaust forum. OTOH if I were to give an answer I'd probably say 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" aught to be plenty, and possibly to much.

Either 2 1/4 or 2 1/2. I have 2 1/2 on mine with a 40 series Flowmaster.

This seems like a pretty good rule of thumb. But then I just put a 2.5" on mine, just because it is the old exhaust off of my brothers truck and it was free. I really haven't got to drive it much but it is really quiet, I have the complete exhaust off of a 1997 F-150 with a 4.6, stock muffler and all.

I have no cat and ran 2 1/4" pipe to a Flowmaster 40 series and y piped it to dual exhaust coming out behind each rear tire. (about stock but 2x better)
