I was going to type out a few more scenarios that illustrate why things aren't really all that bad today, but I don't feel like it. You are mostly right, though, society is pretty warped these days.

Yeah... still here.
I've seen this somewhere else. I'm guilty of half of them. Funny thing is, I'm not any kind of a social liabity as an adult.

In 2009 girls decide to end relationships that were perfectly fine the week before, that have lasted almost a year, and that the boyfriend has put everything that they have into it, just because they made some new friends that just so happen to be guys..

:icon_confused: That's just typical high school drama. :)

I don't miss it one bit, f*** high school. I was also sucked into the zero tolerance B.S. and was expelled my Junior year. I don't see how expelling or suspending kids for dumb things is really helping anything. :annoyed:

That drama is my life right now. :icon_thumby:

Literally right now..

Some of those are pretty funny though. I have a state trooper patrolling my halls in my highschool now btw.

My credo
the grey-t escape
back in my day it was normal to have a gun in the rear window gun rack in a pickup in the high school student parking lot. now they get all pissy over a EMPTY gun rack in a truck. theres just no fear among kids these days, and not much conseqences for alot. used to you would get it at home after getting it at school, now its a free-for-all. no respect, no fear, what will it be like in another 20 years? (if we still exist)

Agreed, although if you think about it, it is that generation that ruined it for the newer generations. They are now the generation that makes all those bogus laws. Kids today can't even have good old fashion fun without ending up in handcuffs. In turn this forces kids to sit at home and become obese playing video games.

Kids used to be afraid of their parents... I'm 21, and I still listen to every word my dad says, and honestly if I screwed up it wouldn't surprise me if he pulled out the old beating belt... Kids don't respect anyone anymore...

i hate how things are like that now, the whole "metrosexual" thing and the trend for men to be pansies and act like women is disturbing. and i'm only a few years out of high school. then again i think a good time can be had chopping firewood.

back in 2003 when i was in high school, my buddy and i went out shooting one night. it got late before we got back so he left his guns in my truck. we had a 12 guage, a semi auto 30-06, mini 14, 357 mag and a couple of .22 rifles.

just before lunch i remembered i had all the guns in my truck so i went and told the principle just in case we had drug dogs come through. well he told me to go home and drop my guns off before anyone made it a big deal and just come back to class.

thats how things should be handled if someone has confidence in another and not blow things out of proportion.
