where do i find these replacement heads?Actually the 2.9 does have a plus...a stronmg bottom end. its hard to break the bottom ends on the 2.9L/4.0 motors. Many people have broken 15 psi on both multiple times. You can flip the oem manifolds on the 4.0s and Im pretty sure you can on the 2.9Ls as well. As for cracking heads when they do there are NEW cylinder head replacements that are dirt cheap fully assembled.
you need to upgrade to maf 2.9 or maf 3.0 setup to stay in the 700 rangeGood luck on tuning it.... That's probably the biggest reason you don't see many forced inducted 2.9s running around.
EEV-IV with a MAF is bad enough to tune. EEC-IV with speed density is virtually untunable short of megasquirt (but that's replacing, not tuning)
