with the metal looking ones you can take a thin wire or a single blade razor to them as close to the emblem as you can and then use paint thinner or goo gone to take the remaining gasket off the blue oval in the grille should bolt off or unclip and the stickers should peel off with some aftermarket sticker glue dissolver found at any auto parts store

no reason to be careful with the paint because it takes more than just removing the emblems to "shave" your truck as there are holes behind them.

I've used just rubbing alcohol and a hair dryer to soften it up and then just pry it off.

Yep, there's gonna be two locating holes behind the emblem that are gonna need filled. Best way to do that is with a welder, which is gonna fry the paint. I wouldn't try just throwing putty or epoxy in there because it's not made to bridge gaps like that and it'll have very little to stick to anyways.

As for the stickers, I would try to just peel them off first. Sometimes they will come right off and sometimes they don't. If they don't try a little heat with a heat gun (be careful) or a hair dryer. Just don't get it too hot!

ya, the newer trucks also have a 1/2" hole behind the emblem, it has a lip so its probably for strength, but it would need a piece of metal welded in to fill it.
