The tread on the rear tires might not make full contact at first, but with proper tire rotation, it should not be an issue (it will NOT shorten the treadlife of the tires, although trying to compensate by running lower air pressure WILL).
When I had 32x11.50R15s on mine, I ran them at 35 PSI front, 30 rear, and rotated them every 5-7K miles. Had about 25K miles on them when they reached half-worn (50% tread left).
its a little narrow for an 11.50 but it will fit it will put more stress on the sidewalls though and IMO it will shorten the life of the tires a little. (but it doesnt sound like it did for 4x4 junkie so i could be wrong)
Most tire manufactures do recommend an 8" minimum rim for 32x11.50s, although I never did understand why at the same time they also recommended 8" rims for 33x12.50s (although fairly recently I think they changed it to 8.5" minimum for some reason, a 15" wheel size I've never seen myself )
