I just upgraded from a 2000, 4cylinder, 2.5l, 2wd, Ranger "sport". this is my first 4X4! HERE IT IS!

I just noticed that the engine computer has been changed in 2008. Look at that big sucker with all the wiring harnesses poking out of it!

Congrats! Although it will use a lot more gas than your old 4-banger.
The only reasonably priced lift for late-models is a 4" kit from Superlift
that costs about $1500. Then you can fit 33x12.50-15 on 15x8 or 15x10 rim, or 305/70-16 on a 16x8 or 16x10 rim.
If you have an automatic it will turn 33's okay with the 4.10's, 4.56 gears would be better but probably not worth the expense.
