Well for me, I need a rack. I need the bedspace for hauling and camping but I also need all the space for people in the cab as well so a rack works out best for me as far as extra storage.

Oh I won't deny the functionality at all!
Id use one to even if I thought it was ugly and needed the space haha.

That's so true. I've always thought the Nissan Frontiers and Toyota Tacomas with racks on looked pretty awesome and Brinker's photos just verified how I thought the Ranger would look with a rack.

Yours doesn't look too bad, but im not a big rack fan either.... If you use them, I understand, but all these jeep people for some reason HAVE to one, and attach shovels, gas cans, high lift jacks, ___as well as other random stuff they'll never use. Idk, maybe I just grew up during the time when roof racks were the most uncool things you could put on your vehicle...... in that case, im going to invest in "curb feelers" and hope they will be the next big thing lol.

i think it needs to be mounted lower... there's to much space between the roof of the truck and the bottom of the rack for my liking...

i was gonna mount explorer luggage rack mounts to my b2, the ones that run front to rear, then mount the cross bar feet to my basket rack.. that way it'd be removable, and i could make it mount nice and low to the roof...

on some trucks they look fine.. like yours. it works.
on some, they look like crap... i could decide on if i liked the look on mine or not... and i didn't need it so, i sold the basket! lol
this is when i tossed it up top to see what it'd look like..

edit: man those tires look SMALL. forgot how small they looked on there! lol
