My
name is Jeff Heasley, and live in the wonderful town of Gunnison,
Colorado. I've owned my BroncoII since new. Its an 87,
that has gone through more transformations than I care to
remember. Its set up for rock crawling now. I think
I'm getting close to being satisfied. Here's a list of mods
that I can remember. I've done 100% of the work myself, and
I help others out that want to wrench on their own. Engine
is a Mustang crate mote with mass air FI. A c4 tranny with super low 1st gear. Atlas 11
transfer case with 4.3 reduction. A Currie built 9" in
the rear with 4.56 and Detroit. A full size dana 44 up front
out of an early bronco with disk brakes, warn shafts, 4.56 and a Detroit.
( I haven't broken the warn shafts yet) Custom heim-jointed
everything in steering system. Heim jointed radius arms,
valley spring works custom coils, 39.5" Boggers,
underhood welder/generator, Currie compressor that fills air tank
bumper, full roll cage, chop top with cool soft top. It
really wheels well. We go to Moab a couple of times a year,
but Montrose Colorado has better trails for serious hard-core
crawlers. If ever this way, drop me a line and we will
wheel! Jeff
