Ranger's back seat...?

Is the ford ranger's back seat big enough for an adult to sit comfortably in it?
Is the back seat just for kids?
Is the back seat of a ford ranger safe to sit in?

I'm 6'2 190 and have sat back there. Not much legroom and what a pita to get the seat unfolded, under your ass, while your hunched over...

Kids should have no problems.

As for safety I can't imagine they would even put them in if they were unsafe. There's lap belts, and you're not going to move unless you bust out the back window. You're probably safer there than in the middle of the bench..
