Linux Users?

I had 2 Mythbuntu 9.10 computers that I use on my TV's for a media center. I also run a CentOS box in my closet to ssh in from work and to do some testing on. Also have asterisk installed on that Cent box as I am thinking about setting up a voip phone system in my house for fun. I also have Ubuntu 8.04 I believe it is with aircrack installed for wireless fun on my laptop :)

Using Kubuntu 9.10. It rocks.

The KDE UI is soooooo much better than Gnome

Now I don't feel nerdy anymore. :icon_twisted: And I've liked Gnome more than KDE. That's why I've stuck with Ubuntu. Tried Xubuntu and Kubuntu liked Ubuntu more than those two. Whatever. We fellow Linux users can still get along right?

I have the newest update of Ubuntu in my labtop and it sucks to me because i can't get my touch pad to work with update and i had second pervious version and i love it..

I ran fedora for quite a while. But i am always trying different things. Will probably end up reinstalling it on my computer again soon..

Yea, I like it better than Windows...less problematic if you know how to admin Linux. I'm a Windows Systems Engineer that uses Linux. :shok: lol. I run Virtual Box when I need to use Windows for work. 100 times better. :)

I've got 7 ultimate 64 bit on both puters... got the OSs for free, and I still prefer using Ubuntu :D

I would really like to use linux ( I ran Ubuntu on my old laptop for a while) but as an avid gamer it's just not a viable solution for me. (I know there is Wine but it's not anywhere near perfect or what I would consider a viable replacement for gaming in windows).

I put Puppy Linux on an ancient PC and my kids use it to surf the web.

I've got easy peasy (ubuntu based) on my asus netbook, it rocks. I dual boot windows so I can use flash and play games, but that's almost never.

I've got Ubuntu 9.1 installed on my laptop with dualbooting. Had Ubuntu on my desktop as a dualboot for years under different versions. Have Xubuntu 7 something on my garage PC (which I haven't run in a long time). Tried to get some version of Linux that would work with an ARM processor netbook I have, but the toy won't boot from USB or SD card...
