Default Torsion bar options

Has anyone replaced the torsion bars with a coilover setup or something other than a SAS? I've got a 98 Ranger that I'm building mostly as a support rig for my buddies jeeps, but I would love to get rid of this crossmemeber and the bars without a full on SAS. Ideas?

RCD is the way to go, or Dixon Bros. if you have a ton of cash to drop for some serious flex.

They sure don't give that stuff away, do they. I wonder anyone has a done something similar on a budget. I can fab the brackets, maybe I can get my hands on just the coilovers?

If you can fab the brackets there's no reason it can't be done. You should be able to find coilovers that will fit the application just fine. Maybe look at a set of stock RCD coilovers? It's really the bracketry that makes it so expensive and hard to do.
