Hey guys I have a 97 ranger 2wd that i race off road (tuff trucks) with. I am looking to do a dual shock set up in the front and plan on mounting it to the i beam on the stock sway bar end link mount. however i need an offset lower eyelet in order for shock to clear the coil spring. ive seen them on other trucks but cant find them online anywhere. I run pro comp 9000s on all 4 corners right now and am just looking to add another shock upfront to help settle the front end down. If anyone could help that would be great thank you!

The ones I've seen have been a custom bracket.

Get a set of GOOD shocks such as Fox with a remote resi and you shouldn't need to dump money into a dual shock set up. Adding another shock won't "settle" the front suspension down either....

Agree, if thats allowed in your class that would be cheaper and better. Dual shock will help if they are getting hot a soft, but so would a resi.

use an f250 style shock tower, you can get them with the stud or eyelet style, then get doetsch tech baja ryder shocks. you will have to call and custom order them to your specs.....and it WILL help settle the front suspension majorly. the stock shock mount doesn't get give the shock much travel, but mounting the shock in front of the spring will increase shock travel by around 1.5" or so over the complete cycle of the front suspension.
