Hey, I'm pulling the old engine out of my 84 bronco 2. I've got everything apart and everything unbolted but I'm still having trouble removing the engine from the transmission. Any special tricks or hidden bolts I'm missing?
thanks.

Once all the bolts are out, the engine and transmission should pull apart. An old engine may have grease and dirt covering one or more bolts - look carefully with adequate light.

Pretty sure I've got all the bolts. But I'll check agian. I didn't know if I had to do anything special. I'll double check. Hopefully I won't have to pull the transmission and transfercase with it.
