Default RPM's of an Auto Ranger

I've got an 88 Ranger. I'm wondering if it's going into O/D. It turns 3200 at 70 mph. It's got a 2.9L/Auto. Does that sound normal. I just bought it to drive and sell so I don't know much about it. Thanks, Matt

It's probably staying in third. But, if you have small tires and/or deep enough gears it might be in OD. What tire size and gear ratio do you have?
