OK my question is do I use the solenoid from an explorer (95) that I got the starter and wires from for my 88 B2? I have it in and have a new clutch switch, plugged in the neutral safety switch to the 93 m5od, the plugs match. and the 95 wires are "fixed" on the end and only go on one way so I put the wires on the batt side that were there on the 88 solenoid on top of the explorer wires. Problem is that it wont start from the key w/ the clutch in (new switch for 88 on clutch) The "s" wire I put on the only pole. It will start and run by arcing the solenoid but not the ignition switch?
