what year did they stop putting deep dish pistons in the 4.0. i meet a guy a week ago that had a 93 4.0 and he had a 100 shot of nos. he told me that the 4.0 had deep dish piston that year and it work good for nos. i have a 99 4.0 and thinking of doing the same setup.

Actually the dish in the 1995 and later pistons is even bigger, because the 1995-up have smaller combustion chambers.
If you seriously wanted to "bottle feed" a 2000 4.0OHV, I'd be inclined to suggest swapping on a set of 1993-94 cylinder heads (this would lower the compression)
