i bought a m50d 5 speed trans im replacing my al4d for manual i cant figure how to disconnect the hyd slave line at trans ive taken the white plastic sleeve of but cant get it to release. i dont like to force things and possibly break it
any help would be appreciated

Obtain you a clutch release tool at your local autoparts store, they are very inexpensive and valuable. Once you have the sleeve depressed completely on all 360*, then it will release....

Why did you take the sleeve off? That will make this a bit harder.

Frankly, at this point I'd cut the line and punch the roll pin out. The line isn't that expensive, not at all hard to find, you will need a new slave either way, and it will just save you a bunch of headache.
 
The white plastic sleeve is the release collar if you've removed it put it back in, you push that sleeve IN, not "take it off"

And yet I've seen a rash of this style post recently.

Read the freaking instructions people.
