Probably 700-900 miles on the Fairbanks trip. Add another 216 for the trip from Tok to Delta Junction and back plus whatever distance it traveled from Tok to the Canadian border... Say 1200 miles or so for vehicular travel.

Another 328 miles for the flight to Tok and probably about 300 miles just tooling around in the plane for a total of 1600 miles?

Total cost for fuel alone to get it to Tok and back is $476.34 and a flight time of 6.86 hours.

That is going to be one well traveled banner when its journey is done. What is the plan for it in the end?
That flight time very few will ever know in a lil sweet bug, espeashaly through. up ,over n under where we went bro.

Looks like an awesome trip! How hard well it be to get it from the Yukon to Edmonton?

Well I'll have a few pics to go up soon. I was going through my camera and it looks like I was too busy hanging out to take lots of pictures. I'll put them up tomorrow.

For what it's worth Ryan, both rentals have been "thoroughly evaluated"

So... Who's next?

Yeah? Who's stepping up to meet & take the Banner on the next leg of the trip??????????????

(I'm still willing to make a donation to help out with the fuel expenses for the Alaska trip...if Jim O. sets up a way to collect/disperse the funds on a percentage basis....like anything over $150 in fuel that an individual spent would recieve a certain % back...depending on how much was collected in the fund)

So here are the pics.

For our trip we had a decently fresh 2011 Ford Edge. Which did fantastic on the trip through rain, mud, tire-eating potholes and everything else.

To start the trip we listened to the most road-trip of road-trip songs. And yes, that is the Bluetooth name of my phone.

I brought my oil cap with me, so we had a bit of Ranger-ness with us.

Our Alaskan hosts we quite great, LIMA lit up a little cooker to enjoy. You can't be out in the north without a fire.

We kept on getting to know each other until late into the night. Note Ben (thatbluecar) being quite the 'champion' in the background.

Chris getting some life lessons from LIMA.

After our trip to Delta we headed up a was to see the largest suspended crossing of the pipeline. Jeff's out checking things out a little bit.

We got back in and hung out on the tarmac for a bit. A little meeting of our two transportation methods.

And the banner is here in Whitehorse waiting for whoever is ready.
