I just found out I'm busy the AM of the 16th but I think I could still make a push to pick it up if things work out for then. The car is pretty much road trip ready when ever the banner calls.

Then if things go right Jeff and I will fly it over to the border the following weekend. Hopefully to Mountain Mike... time will tell.
Nope. Didn't happen. The Tahneta Pass was closed all weekend with weather. The guy I was going with just squeeked through on Friday evening but I was about an hour late and the window had closed. Trisha and I flew out the Bold strip on Lake Eklutna and spent last night just to get out of Anchorage and damn near didn't make it back out of there this afternoon. Frigging weather! Did I take a single picture of the banner at Bold? No. It was there! Even had it out if its tube once. Still no PIC!!! Not done yet though. Lots of flying time left!

Here are some pic of where the banner went this last weekend. Not the same trip but the weather (at its worst in these pics) was about the same...

Planning to fly it back up there this coming weekend as it is only a 30 minute flight and then on out to Knik for some monster glacier action!
