No problem. $55 does sound very reasonable for the control unit. Good luck, I hope that solves the problem. If not, check the trouble codes again and let me know. It is possible that there is more than one problem and to get to the next one you have to replace the module to be able to see the next problem, but I really hope not.

With a RABS system that had the ECU fail, my advice for repair is to remove the bulb and get on with life.

That doesn't make sense. I'm not sure if you've ever driven without RABS working but it's a severe pain in the ass. Having your rear brakes constantly lock up is absolutely ridiculous. Why not buy the $50-100 part and ensure yours and everyones safety.
