SHOCKING NEWS!

got some super duty shock mounts today.

had to mod them a lil

plus we spray bombed everything

had to drill a top/third hole in the brackets after cutting them down.

next used some 1.5"x4" steel and made some spacer/mount brackets then welded them to the frame.

finished product

cheap curb flex

Looks good bud, nice 4x4 swap.

Only critique I got is grind everything down to bare shiny metal before laying any weld.

----

----

well i put the m/t's on, i cleaned the rims up with some 3m alloy polish, i think it did a great job.

then i went out and took some pictures behind a local store that has been closed down for years.

----

heres a before and after picture of the rims, two are alot cleaner, im not sure why, they almost seem newer.
i think chad should be happy to see im taking care of the rims.

before.

after.

All of those pictures are from 2008 and everything is still holding up.

Well, everything except the swaybar. I took that off over the winter because it broke.

More (newer) pictures will be up in a second.
All of those were copied from another forum where the mods are retards.

I lied. More old pictures.

"well, i thought i would go take some new flex pictures.

i went as far as i could being 2wd with an open rearend and no parking brake. :squintfin

i was going to take the front swaybar links off but im lazy, so the flex is limited."
