I think toy leaf would be ok on a ranger that weighs 1000lbs heavier. Plus, he has 2" lift springs on it that increased the spring rate.

Always liked the older toyotas. Maybe one day I have one as a crawler project. You two are doing some cool work on that thang!

I haven't updated this in a while. He has since been driving this as is with no bed. And, he has painted the whole truck black. Think he said it was POR15? Need to get some more pics uploaded and some updates.

Worked on it today. Got the bed sides mounted.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now he just needs to find the screws for the tail lights to mount them, finish the bed floor with aluminum diamond plate, brace the tops of the bed sides to keep from flopping and it will be done. Sent from my HTC using Tapatalk |

I was just talking to him yesterday about that. He might just leave it here and let me finish it. Then he will come back a pick it up.

My brother is finally finishing the bed...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Notice his fuel tank...lol he is looking for a fuel cell or something that will fit under the bed behind the axle. He has a new steering box to get rid of the push pull thing. Chevy 63" leaf springs to put in the rear. Will be starting the leaf swap in a few weeks. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2 |
