Default 5 speed tranny swap need clutch help

Hi i have a 4x4 1998 for ranger 4.0 v6 with a auto tranny. I have gotten a M50D-R1 5 speed tranny from a friend also out of a 4x4 ranger but it was a 94. I know the flywheels are different and i need a new 8 bolt flywheel not the 6 bolt one but do i have to use a 98 clutch and pressure plate or can i still use the 97 and older ones (same as 94) with the 98 flywheel? I am prety sure the clutches are the same with a 10" od and 23 spline 1" id but i dont know if the pressure plates are the same any help will be great.

Thank you very much. Will
