Does this mean you will have to make a new drag link since you have to shorten your track bar or do your TRE's have enough threads in them?

I would weld it to the frame. You don't need it to come off and if you do you can cut it. Bolt and weld, then gusset to the engine cross member

There are plenty of threads, I made the draglink about 3/4" shorter than the stock XJ draglink.

Ok, weld it to the frame. Should I fabricate a new one or just modify what I have? I didn't get a chance to take a pic of it. Got to dark out and if I took it with the flash on my phone it would not turn out. This is a pic from the 89 but it is the same on the 93.

Awesome and quick build man! On the trackbar bracket, I definitely agree that it needs to be bolted/ welded to the bottom of the frame to eliminate the flex.

Yeah, looking at the above pic I see that is what needs to be done. I will have to take it off weld some plate to the bottom to bolt to. Then weld the whole thing to the frame....

After seeing it, looks to me if you made your brace flatter to the ground and weld that to the engine crossmember and leave it bolted to the track bar mount, I bet that would help out the most if you want to keep it removable. But honestly, plate the bottom and weld it to the frame would be the strongest. I would still keep your tie in at the engine crossmember and make it flatter or perpendicular to the track bar mount.

The 93 is a little more perpendicular than the 89, but not by much.
