- My credo
- In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Has anyone used front bumpers from other vehicles on their Ranger?
Any ideas of what fits with little modification?
I want a new bumper and I can build one if necessary. My new tires (35x12.50) may interfere with the side portions of my OEM bumper (1993). But I was wondering if there are bumpers from other vehicles that might work or at least serve as a basis for designing one instead of starting from scratch. I've seen some newer Jeep bumpers that look somewhat like what I want. But I don't know how their mounting points line up or how they compare in overall width. Same with a H3.
Any info around here? or do I just need to spend time at the junk yard with a tape measure? not many jeeps in my local junk yards.
