Hi , i want to know what ( and how many ) bolts y have to put in a BII to make a 3 In body lift , i ask because in the region i am ( chile , patagonia ), is impossible to get a brand new kit , so y will make the block spacers :icon_welder: , but don´t know what bolts are required . thanks

welcome to TRS. I think you will need 10 but I'm not 100% sure

The lengths sound right because i used 4 and 6 inch bolts with no body lift just stock bushings. The long ones are the very back most ones. I used 1/2" grade 8 bolts and where the nut would touch the bushing a fender washer not just a a regular washer and I remember using washers to shim a few bolts because the threaded section was slightly to short so buy extra standard washers.

bad news , the only store that exist here , have only grade 5 and 8" and 10" bolts :sad: , any suggestions ? ideas ? , can use these bolts or are unsafe ? :icon_confused: .

I'd use grade 8 but grade 5 should work fine too. Depending on how much thread you need, you could probably use the 8" and 10" ones and cut an inch off. Dunno what your budget is but maybe Fastenal would ship stuff to you too.

thanks alaskan155 , so the main bolts i have to buy are :

qty size
8 7/16" (12mm) x 7" (180mm)
2 7/16" (12mm) x 9" (23mm)
10 washers 7/16"

is that correct or i miss something . :icon_confused:
Spacers and steering extension I believe

Here is the actual status of my work :

i do some body work , paint , add spacers to front coils , put a whell spacer , 6 bolt pattern to use my k5 rims , and i buy new MT tires , actually i'm waiting the bolts ( i buy it in a near city )..

still working hard :icon_welder: and waiting to test it :icon_hornsup:

now i´will show some pitures of the BII .

























now i need a :beer: ,
