From the factory, did all older trucks ding when the doors was open, lights left on and seat belt reminder? Curious why only my door chime works in my 90. I know some trucks had buzzers but did only XLT trim trucks remind you of your lights and seat belt? If they all dinged/buzzed, how would I go about fixing the non-dinging seat belt warning and lights on warning? I replaced the fuse for the seat belt and that didn't do anything plus my seat belt reminder light comes on, on the dash

You might make sure the seat belt buckle is plugged in and check the wiring going to it.

Mine has always been unplugged so I can't say if it ever buzzed if it wasn't plugged in. :dntknw:

My 91 only dings occasionally when first turning the truck on and the seat belt is unbuckled. It has never dinged when I have left the lights on (did it twice to the point it totally drained the battery) and never when the doors are left open.

It is the xlt trim package

The plug on the floor where it attaches to the seat is plugged in but it still doesn't work. Any way to fix that?
