I've been looking at the supreme suspension lift to raise the wifes 2008 XLT 4x4. Reading the reviews, there have been a few that mentioned extreme difficulty with the keys. Was their trouble due to inexperience or are all front keys a pita?

Most of the after market keys are cast not forged and are dangerous, if you must buy new keys make damn sure they are forged.

Probably cheapest & easiest to get stock keys from a pre-2008 truck (junkyard item), and then simply turn your torsion bar adjustment up a little. You won't have to worry about forged vs. cast this way.

(keys are not a wear item, so as long as they are not made of ferric oxide, they should be the same thing as new ones)
