1983 ford ranger pro street

Hi guys I'am new here and sure if I'am doing this right but here we go I've got a 83 ranger short box pro street with a built 302 a c4 tranny and a ford 9in with 488 gear my question is what type of coils can i use to bring the front end up alittle right now i have the stock 4cyl coils i could real use some help

Probably coils from a 4.0l engined ranger or explorer would work. Then you can get into f150 coils but they are stiff.

fresh coils.


if those are new what number/make.




the 302 dont really weigh enough to reduce ride height with fresh coils

If new spring won't give what you are after, might also want to consider coil spring spacers. They are a DIY lift made from steel washers, and get bolted in under the spring perch.
