its taken over a year to sort out all this stuff and unfortunately everything with the shitty shop was over phone. I have no paper trail. Plus it would end up probably costing me the same I would get paid out...

I'm a firm believer of what goes around comes around...

There's a reason the transmission shop that my 1993 ranger was taken to for a transmission rebuild is no longer in business...they were cutting corners, not replacing stuff they were charging for, etc. Many failed rebuilds and in the end they got what was coming to them, they were ran out of business.

Chicagoland area doesn't have many 4x4 shops. I did some research and talked to people and took it where I took it. Everyone that has heard my issues, problems, and the solutions are completely shocked that my truck came from that shop.

The owner used to run a shop with Stacey David from Powerblock TV's "Trucks" and now "Gearz". The owner wasn't cut out for TV so kept working and started his own shop.

The shop that sorted everything out is a friend of a friend who went to school and has been trained on all the high end cars, Lambo, BMW, Ferarri, etc.

Figures, it takes an exotic Mechanic to fix an American 4x4. lol
