Newbie Bronco II questions

Hey Guys, This site is much better than a Ford manual. I just bought a super nice Bronco II XLT with no rust. But it was in a minor fender bender and I need to replace the right fender, hood, complete headlight assembly, and the bumper. Are the parts all exactly the same from 89-92 Rangers, Bronco IIs, and Explorers? Also would like to replace the grill with a explorer grill. Will they fit?

im not sure if the explorer body parts are the same but the grill will fit. and the body parts will all fit from the 89-92 rangers and B2's.

all of that stuff can be sourced from rangers.

grill and headlights (but not core support) are all you can get from an explorer

Tony,
If your BII is an 89 or 90 then the headlight bucket and grill from an explorer will fit but the fender will have to come from a same year BII or Ranger as the 88 and below BIIs/Rangers have different front sheetmetal. The hood and bumbers are the same on all years of the BIIs and Rangers up to 92 I think.

Go to LMCtruck.com and look at thier catalogue. You can order a free one as well. It works as a pretty good cross referance for this type of issue. You can buy the parts from them, or just use it as a guide for what you need to look for, or can use.

the grill and headlights are the same for 89-90 bronco 2, 89-92 ranger, and 91-94 explorer. the fenders and hood for the 89-90 b2 and 89-92 ranger will work for sure. nothing else will work from the explorer.

the hood from a 91-94 explorer will fit a 89-90 BII and 89-93 ranger as well as the headlights and grill
