95 ranger 4.0 gauges not working

95 ford ranger xlt 4.0 The bulbs were blown in my gauge cluster so I pulled my gauge cluster out to change bulbs put the gauge cluster back in lights work great none of my gauges work so I checked all fuses and wiring behind the gauge cluster didn't see any problems so I bought another gauge cluster that was tested and worked put it in gauges still don't work need help fast got to get back and fourth to work

Sounds like a connection problem. First thing I would do is clean the harness connectors and the connection points on the cluster. I used a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol on mine.

Inspect everything real good. Make sure there is nothing interfering with the connections. Make sure the copper traces at the connection points on the cluster are not cracked, torn, folded backwards, etc. Make sure all the wiring points on the harness side of the connectors are firmly in place in the connectors.

I tried all of that so far someone told me it may be the gem module do you know if that's true

My credo
to prevent Found On the Road Dead, Fix Or Repair Daily
Panel is missing the hot or the ground. My guess is that you popped a fuse changing stuff. 2nd guess is a bad connection Please post when you fix it. TIA :D
