Brakes were acting complete normal, no abnormal sounds, abs functioned. On my way around town earlier this week, the pedal just went straight to the floor, and now the brake will grab when the pedal hits the floor. :annoyed: When they grab, it make the truck bounce, almost like the brakes are pulsing slowly on and off.

What could cause me to lose pedal, but still have partial braking ability?

The sooner I can get this fixed, the better. I have always got great help from everyone here, so thank you in advance.

Sounds like you've lost one end. Either a line, hose, cylinder or caliper. look for brake fluid under the truck. ps. you might need to add brake fluid to get it to leak again as one end is now empty.

The weird thing is, the last time I blew out a line, I had absolutely no brakes. My brakes grab a bit at the bottom of the pedal.

In theory you're not supposed to be able to loose all braking effect if you loose one end, however actuality does not always follow theory.

^^ True. Oh so true. I've decided before I throw money at it and hope to fix it, I'm gonna take it in, and only pay too much once. Thanks for the help.
