I have had a lot of question about this, so I thought I would share. Basically I used 1" by 1/8" steel and cut and drilled and welded to the pillar. I grinded a little of the window frame cover. But it was a really easy thing to do, and a nice look. Always liked it on the jeeps, but not a jeep guy, so had to do the next best thing. This was a prototype for me, so on my other bronco I will have a better finish one. But this is the idea

Thanks
Good luck
Danny

Nice, except I'm not sure how well it'd hold up to a big branch or a vine or something wrapping around it.

I like how it looks though!

can you show us pics from sitting in the driver seat?? how's the blind spot? and how about pics of it without the windshield trim so we can see the mounting

i thought about the same thing, just mounted to the bottom of the windshield, not the sides.

Has anyone tried pim nuts? It seems that the metal on the Pillars would be strong enough to hold up to lots of abuse. And if they get ripped out they are easy to replace.

that seems like it would be a good idea to do. small nutserts and bolt your bracket on where u cant see the bolt, then put the trim over it
