I'm going to look at a few junk yards around me for a ranger with a hitch. What year rangers can I pull a hitch from?
I've got a 99 off road edition.

See if you can snag a wire adaptor for the trailer lights also?

I've got the harness ghetto rigged from the previous owner, it is rigged up to the driver's side tail light.
What hitch's do I have to not drill for?
Also, would the larger tire size of the off road edition effect which hitches I can use due to the storage of the spare tire?

Mine doesnt interfere with the spare do you have the stock bumper and spare or oversize? Mine just bolts under the bumper brackets using the same bolt holes no drilling.

Well, my spare tire doesn't fit in the hole completely, it is kinda diagonal.
So I'm assuming it is slightly larger.

The only way to tell is mount the hitch I guess as long as you have the stock bumper.

It is the stock bumper but the idiot before me bent it up a little bit, but it is functional.
